What Is SPRAY FOAM INSULATION?
Spray Foam Insulation is an insulation which is able to better seal walls, floors, and ceilings against air movement when compared to other types. Developed in the mid 80s, it is now popular insulation material and many home owners are now switching over to spray foam rather than the traditional insulation such as fiberglass.
As the name implies, it’s sprayed onto or into an open cavity and then expands into the area. It never loses its shape, compresses, or sags over time. It can fill in gaps, cracks, and crevices. Spray Foam comes in two types known as Open Cell and Closed Cell.
